Energy Minister Chris Bowen and Independent MP Dai Le would be pitted against each other under a proposal from the Labor Party on the redistribution of Fowler.
Member for Fowler Dai Le joined Sky News host Peta Credlin to discuss the proposed redistribution.
“They must be concerned with the present boundaries, and, obviously, with the energy prices; it’s a big issue out here in Western Sydney and particularly my Fowler community,” Ms Le said.
“Look, that’s obviously Labor’s proposal; I mean, my suggestion to the AEC was to retain the current electorate.
“So there must be a concern for them to be suggesting this whether or not the AEC will take on board the Labor party suggestion or any major party suggestions is up to the AEC.”
