Practicum exchange network Individual

Practicums help early childhood teachers (ECTs) in training to gain practical, work-place experience in an early childhood educational setting during an exchange to a remote area.
From 2024–25 to 2026–27, participants undertaking an exchange in a rural or remote area can apply for a living and travel allowance of up to $1500.
Practicum exchanges will be open to ECTs in training who are studying certificate III, diploma and initial teacher education course.
Postgraduate courses are not eligible.
Play Our Way program Sport

The Australian Government is providing $200 million for the Play Our Way program. The program will run over 3 years from 2024–25 to 2026–27.
The program will provide funding for local solutions and improvements that address participation barriers faced by women and girls. The following types of organisations can apply for funding through a competitive grant opportunity:
- local governments
- community organisations
- not-for-profit organisations
- sporting organisations.
Successful organisations will use the grants to:
- provide safe, inclusive, quality and sustainable facilities, equipment and initiatives
- help women and girls to remain involved in sport and physical activity for life.
Applicants will be able to apply for funding under 2 streams:
- Facilities
- Participation and Equipment.
Churchill Fellowship Individual

A Churchill Fellowship offers Australian citizens and permanent residents a life-changing opportunity to travel overseas for four to eight weeks to learn more about a topic or issue that they are passionate about. The amount of money awarded for every Fellowship is different as it is calculated based on the number of countries visited, the duration of the approved Fellowship and an estimated airfare.
You don’t need an academic qualification to apply, in fact you don’t need to have finished school. You can do a Churchill Fellowship on any topic, provided there is a benefit to Australia and your community by you sharing your knowledge or skills.

The Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Round 2 provides eligible small and medium businesses up to $25,000 to upgrade or replace inefficient equipment to improve their energy efficiency.

2023 – 24 Investing in Women Program Not-for-profit

The Investing in Women Funding Program seeks to fund innovative projects that focus on the three pillars that align with the NSW Women’s Strategy (2023 – 2026), in particular pillars two and three; Health and Wellbeing, and Participation and Empowerment.
Projects must involve high-quality activity, engagement, and participation with focus communities of Women NSW.
For the first time, funding is available for projects that roll over multiple years to support growth and sustainability. Organisations that have demonstrated a strong track record in delivery and outcomes are eligible to apply for multi-year funding.
