Welcome to the September 2025 edition of our e-Newsletter!

Another busy month and sitting fortnight have come to an end. My team and I are looking forward to seeing you at the Cabramatta Moon Festival on 28 September. Come by and visit our stand at Cabramatta Plaza on Hughes Street (outside Woolworths) say hello, enjoy a treat, and try your luck in our spin-the-wheel competition for a chance to win a prize!

Earlier this month, three outstanding young people from Fowler attended the National Leadership Forum in Canberra alongside more than 200 delegates nationwide. I was honoured to host a small group in my office. Their passion was inspiring, and I look forward to continuing to support their journey as future leaders.

Looking ahead, a quick heads-up that my office’s next Bring Your Bill Day will be held on Wednesday 22 October, at the Prairiewood Youth and Community Centre. My team and I will be helping you to understand your bills, find savings and connect you directly with government agencies and service providers. Please save the date. We will be joined by many other services including Fairfield City Council who has sponsored the forum.

Expressions of interest are open for the National Youth Parliament 2026 in Canberra, which will bring 150 Australians aged 16–17together for a unique civics and leadership program inside Parliament. If you know a young person passionate about democracy, encourage them to apply here.

Finally, our community is deeply saddened by the passing of Andy Snook, a true local hero. My heartfelt condolences go to Daphne and the Snook family. Andy was a true local hero whose passion helped create the Mount Pritchard dog park and whose compassion touched countless lives. He will be remembered for his generosity, selflessness and dedication to our community.

Please remember, my office is always here for you. Whether you have concerns, ideas, or need support, we’re just a phone call away.
