Dai Le MP will be nominating 3 young adults from the Fowler electorate (aged between 18-26) to attend the National Leadership Forum which will take place in Canberra on August 22–25, 2024.

The event will see 200 young leaders travel to Canberra to meet with Members of Parliament, business leaders, keynote speakers and 80+ volunteers as part of their leadership development.

The National Leadership Forum is a partisan event that exists to equip young people with skills to lead selflessly and courageously on a strong foundation of values, compassion and connection.

The Forum aims to provide the upcoming generation of leaders with a lens to explore what sits beneath their words and actions and has become a hallmark event for young leaders across Australia each year.

Milestone events throughout the Forum include guest speakers, time at Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, leadership panels, a community service project, as well as time to share and reflect on experiences in small group discussion. With delegates from across Australia, New Zealand and beyond the Forum creates a pivotal time to engage with like-minded leaders, discuss ideas and beliefs, and establish a dialogue about who they are and the impact they can make, over what role they hold.

To be eligible to attend the young adult will need to be:

  • aged between 18-26
  • live in the Fowler electorate
  • exhibits positive leadership skills -be it university, workplace or in the broader community
  • Be able and willing to travel to the event held in Canberra between August 22-25, 2024.
