The “My First Speech” Competition for schools across the Fowler Electorate is now open!
This national competition invites students in Years 10, 11, and 12 to step into the shoes of a newly elected Member of Parliament and write a 90-second speech on a topic they’re passionate about.
The winners from each year group will enjoy an unforgettable experience—flown to Canberra with a parent or guardian to deliver their speeches at Parliament House and take part in an engaging program that brings the legislative process to life.
Entries are now open and close at 11:59 pm AEST on Monday, 15 September 2025.
