Independent MP Dai Le says her community of Fowler in Western Sydney is “still struggling” with the cost of living crisis.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, over the last 12 months, inflation rose to 3.8 per cent from 3.6 per cent.
“In a community like Fowler in Western Sydney, we are still struggling,” Ms Le told Sky News Australia.
“Until electricity prices go down or stabilise, I don’t think we should be celebrating anything.”
